Cowley Station honours the memory of Isaac Cowley Lambert (1850-1909), chairman of Pacific Contract Company—the construction company that built the White Pass and Yukon Railway.  Cowley Station is designed as a climate responsive building utilizing a mountain architecture aesthetic, with modulated sloping roofs, and timber and log construction detailing. Metaphorically, the design recalls train stations of the past in paying homage to Yukon legend Issac “Cowley” Lambert. 

The residences are located at the foot of Whitehorse’s scenic Clay Cliffs. The development responds to this unique location and utilizes roof forms, colour, and materials as an important component in defining a cohesive image and overall character.
