The Tagé Cho Hudän Cultural Heritage Centre showcases the rich culture, history and environment of the Northern Tutchone First Nation people. The proposed facility will tell the stories about the people and the land—past and present. It is the intent that the Centre becomes an interactive, living museum.

The new Centre will provide improved facilities to service the growing local and international tourist industry. In addition, it will provide facilities for teaching and research, a retail outlet for local crafts, and a small restaurant highlighting local First Nation cusine.

The design relates to sun orientation, the riverine setting and recalls traditional Northern Tuchone structures in its detailing. The project is designed as a green, healthy building to reduce energy consumption—and provide a healthy environment for visitors and staff.
