This chateau residence is located on a large wooded lot in Whiterock, South Surrey, BC.  Expressed timber trusses, glulam beams and logs form the structural supporting system.  A 30' high central douglas fir "house post" is a featured architectural and symbolic element—anchoring the home to the earth and acting as a mast to the sky.
