"Nothing burns like
THE COLD."
~ George R. Martin
These family homes are designed to be in context with the local community vernacular, respond to an extreme cold climate, and at the same time provide a distinct identity complementing the unique forest setting. Steep sloping roofs with main gables facing the access road are a dominant architectural feature. The homes, designed to accommodate extended families, have vaulted living room and upper bedroom ceilings and semi finished basements for future bedrooms. They make extensive use of natural materials including wood siding and timbers.
